Chagall- The Revolution: Poster created for the annual exhibition, "Painters, witness of their time", at the Galliera Museum, Paris. The reproduction was issued from a detail of a preparatory study for the 1937 picture "The Revolution". It is, as so often with Chagall, crowded with his childhood memories, religion and of course, the Russian revolution. Published by Painters as Witnesses of Their Time, Paris measures 30 x 20 in. ref. no. 92 in "Chagall's Posters - A Cataloque Raisonne', Sorlier, 1975.
